RAD is financially supporting Contarino Roth, LLC and Dhillon Law Group in litigation against The New School for antisemitic discrimination against one of its students. Dhillon Law Group filed the complaint in federal court in the Southern District of New York on April 11, 2025.

Background

At a pro-Hamas protest at The New School in December 2023, emerging artist Brandon White was assaulted, slurred, and prevented from attending classes based on his harassers’ perception that he is Jewish. His attackers then started a harassment campaign falsely accusing White of being the aggressor and a bigot.

The New School refused to investigate the antisemitic assault or retaliation against White while immediately investigating obviously false claims against White by his attackers. The New School refused to at every point to protect White or give him due process, allowing his attackers to go unpunished.

RAD, Contarino Roth, LLC, and Dhillon Law Group seek justice to hold The New School accountable for violating civil rights law by brazenly discriminating against White.
