The Magen Project

Fighting Antisemitism, Standing up for American Values

The rise in antisemitism in education and the workplace is a betrayal of America’s founding values and a threat to all Americans’ rights.

The Magen Project is a partnership between RAD and renowned civil rights law firm Dhillon Law Group to defends Jewish students and employees targeted by antisemitism and anti-Israeli bigotry in schools, businesses, labor unions, and the government. Through litigation, representation in grievance processes, and public relations, we protect Jews from hateful discrimination and push back against the corrupted institutions that enable or promote antisemitism.

No one is above the law. Together, we can hit back and hit back hard against antisemitic and anti-Israeli bigots, terror-supporting activists, and anti-American, antisemitic DEI programs.

Civil Rights Litigation

Know Your Rights: Federal and state law prohibit discrimination against Jews and Israelis based on religion and ethnicity. Schools, workplaces, unions and government institutions that allow or engage in harassment against Jews can be sued, defeated, and forced to change.

Antisemitic and anti-Israeli bigots often disguise their hate as ‘anti-zionism’ and claim it as free speech. They may think this is clever but the law sees through it. When ‘anti-zionism’ means harassing, attacking, spitting on, and tormenting Jews and Israelis in schools and workplaces just for existing, it is illegal discrimination. And we will fight it.

Magen Project Cases

RAD is proud to collaborate with Dhillon Law Group as its litigation partner for the Magen Project.

Together, RAD and Dhillon Law Group are bringing innovative, high-impact cases targeting the biggest drivers of antisemitism in American institutions.

The Magen Project is bringing cases against universities for violating student and faculty civil rights, and has filed first-of-its kind litigation aimed at stopping the violent antisemitic protests and encampments that have swept schools across the nation.

American Muslims for Palestine & National Students for Justice in Palestine

National organizations led a nationwide campaign of violent, antisemitic protests on campuses that harmed innocent bystanders.

City University of New York

CUNY negligently gave violent pro-Hamas protestors control over its campus, resulting in the protestors attacking a man for holding an American flag.

University of Illinois-Chicago

The University of Illinois-Chicago failed to protect its Jewish students and faculty from rampant antisemitic harassment, including by the school’s own academic and resource departments and employees.

Columbia University

Columbia refused to protect Jewish faculty from death threats and harassment by radical protestors.

The New School

The New School refused to investigate an antisemitic assault against a student while immediately subjecting him to investigation based on brazenly false claims by his attackers.

Contributing to RAD enables the Magen Project to aggressively litigate these cases and expand its operations to help more Americans stand up against antisemitic discrimination.
